Reworking Europe's largest dropshipping platform around its users
Virtualstock's technology connects retailers and suppliers at significant scale. The capability was strong, but legacy workflows made it harder for users to see what mattered and act quickly.

Clear system
01 / the problem
Powerful marketplace operations hidden behind legacy complexity.
Retail teams had to manage suppliers, products, orders, returns and delivery warnings through an interface that had grown without a clear hierarchy.
The dashboard wasn't being used, important activity was difficult to track and older functionality sat in places users didn't expect.
- 01 Understand real retailer workflows
- 02 Make operational risk visible
- 03 Reorganise legacy functionality
- 04 Raise the interface to enterprise standard
02 / the solution
A platform shaped by the people running retail operations every day.
We interviewed users and gathered direct feedback from major retail clients, including John Lewis, to identify where the existing experience broke down.
The redesigned dashboard prioritises the metrics teams act on, while supplier, product and order journeys were restructured around clearer tasks. We then developed the responsive frontend in Tailwind CSS.

“The platform UI they delivered is completely transformed. The UX is intuitive, the dashboard now showcases the operational metrics that matter, and the modern UI gives our platform the enterprise feel our clients wanted.”
