Teaching English to kids through pop music
Planet Pop teaches English through original pop songs, made in Oxford and co-developed with Oxford University Press. The platform had to feel like the product: neon, musical and alive, while doing serious work underneath, from CEFR and Cambridge exam alignment through to a school pilot funnel feeding HubSpot.

01 / the problem
Make a language platform feel like a music channel.
Kids don't want a textbook and teachers don't want a toy. Planet Pop sits exactly on that line: songs and characters with genuine curriculum alignment behind them. The site has to sell both stories at once, energy for the classroom, rigour for the person signing the school's pilot request.
It also carries real partnerships. Oxford University Press distributes Planet Pop in Spain, and Cambridge exam alignment runs through the content, both of which needed room to breathe on the page.
- 01 Speak to teachers, schools and parents at once
- 02 Carry the OUP and Cambridge stories credibly
- 03 Keep a heavy visual world fast and accessible
- 04 Convert interest into school pilot requests
02 / the solution
A neon world with a curriculum underneath.
The site runs the brand's five-colour gradient through a dark, stage-lit world: animated hero, lesson previews, the cast of characters and exam alignment sections, all driven by GSAP motion that stays smooth on classroom hardware.
Underneath, it's a conversion machine: a structured school pilot form feeding HubSpot with automated follow-up, video embeds for the lesson library, and performance and accessibility budgets held high enough for school networks and screen readers alike.
